Why I should be Zooey Deschanel

Yes it is true- Zooey is quite possibly one of my favorite people ever, you can read about my love for all things her- here and here. There are like a million reasons I would like to be her. And here are some of them....
1) Her Hair- I have waxed on about it like a million times, I love it, her bangs, how it always looks good, the very retro vibe she seems to be able to rock at any moment. LOVE IT. Granted if I was a movie star someone would probably be doing my hair a lot and it might, just might look just as good.
2) Clothes- again maybe if I were a movie star something would be dressing me. But I love, love LOVE her retro look.
3) Her Sister- Emily Deschanel. I am a big fan of both of the Deschanel sisters. I would pick to be Zooey just so Emily could be my older sister. Granted I already have pretty much the coolest sister on the planet, but I figured it cannot hurt to throw in another awesome one. Plus with access to Emily I would get to meet David Borenaz, and learn more about the Bones spoilers. Sweet yo!
4) Singing- have you heard her sing? nuff said.
5) Her Fiance is Ben Gibbard- from several of my all time favorite bands- Death Cab for Cutie, and The Postal Service
6) Movies- all the amazing movies she has been in, and who she has been in them with.
7) The very hopeful possibility she could end up guest staring on Bones.

Thank the lords of Reality TV (competition series)

Did any one else notice that Project Runway and Top Chef are back? Heck yes they are. They have also managed to make Wednesday/Thursday an awesome one-two punch for the rest of the summer! My love of Project Runway is long and deep. I may one of the few people in America who watched the first season (the first time) Oh Jay McCarroll (I heart you). Season number 1 is still my favorite- the drama is just so much better. The de-facing of home photos, too much drinking, constant smoking and backstabbing makeovers. Plus the contestants had more time on their hands to bitch- which we all knows makes awesome TV. I love it, season 2 was almost equally awesome- who can get past Santino's impressions???? Where's Andre? I have had some trepidation about the current season, with the networks fighting over the rights it has been a long wait, and I was worried Lifetime would completely ruin my love- but as it turns out they haven't- yes their commercials are awful, but the season was filmed before Lifetime owned it and therefore is safe! My big and only beef is the Thursday 9 p.m. time slot (people we need to stop scheduling quality programing on Thursday nights.) There is only so much DVR-ing one can handle.
Fall Thursday night line up:
7:00 - Bones, hr (Fox)
8:00- The Office, 1/2 hr (NBC)
8:00- Grey's Anatomy, hr (ABC)
8:00- Fringe, hr (FOX) - currently in last spot for the DVR line
9:00- It's always Sunny, 1/2 hr (FX)
9:00- Project Runway, hr (Lifetime)
This is crazy right? CRAZY..... Scheduling Gods- change something pronto!
I have a few more weeks before I need to seriously start worrying about my DVR's ability but this will be stressful.
Anywho- Top Chef- I heart you. I loved, loved, LOVED Top Chef Masters- and Awesomely Zooey Deschannel was a guest once! Top Chef Las Vegas already looks to be super awesome, I think I am going to be enjoying it!
What are your favorites? Are you a Project Runway fan or a Top Chef fan??

Hello SyFy- please don't suck

Here is something everyone might have missed. This week the Sci Fi channel changed it's name to SyFy (they spouted from marketing mumbo jumbo about synergy and alignment of markets- this is stuff I only wish people would pay me to spout). But they also previewed a new show: Warehouse 13:

Joanne Kelly, Eddie McClintock

Let's be honest, I only watched this show because I loved Eddie McClintock on the show Bones- except I had to hate his character because he was dating Temperance Brennan and we all know that was 100% not ok. Also what is great is- Eddie is essentially playing the exact same character as on Bones- Federal Agent (check) I little be free spirited (check) Comic relief (check). But I want to like this show, mostly for reasons that it is the summer and nothing else is on. But also because I feel like I gave old Eddie a bad shake- hopping he would leave Bones and never come back. So please SyFy- don't suck. I like the premiere, but didn't love it. I can probably script out the next 5 seasons on this show too- they aren't doing anything that hasn't been done before. I still want to like it. I just do. Let's think positive everybody.

Why May will Rock my Wooden Shoes Off...

Part 2: TV Shows
May is an exciting month for my favorite television shows! Most of them will be having season finales (not to mention all the exciting sweeps shows I have already experienced- weddings, illness, babies, discos!) This week is going to rock!
Season Finales occurring this week:
How I Met Your Mother- Will Robin and Barney finally get together (again)?, Will Ted make America happy and say Stella is NOT the one (again)?- we find out tonight!
Castle- lackluster season so far, but apparently it has all lead up to tonight's season finale. Come on Nathan Fillion make it interesting!
Bones- Booth and Brennan finally get it on! Now lets hope this show does not go the way of moonlighting!
Grey's Anatomy- Mer and Der finally tie the knot? Christina and Owen- get it together I love you two, and want you to love too! Finally George just might leave- and maybe get a line or two. Izzie- will you survive or die and mess up Alex more???
The Office- Holly finally returns, will it be love for her and Michael? Give me more Andy and Kelly! And some creed too!

Also I might as well admit I have been watching American Idol- and rooting for Kris, and very very very excited about GLEE! Yes May you rock in terms of television!

Anyone else?

Does anyone else out there watch BONES? This week and last they have been showing two episodes a week (love!) Monday's episode: Bones is convinced that a co-worker was murdered instead of died at natural causes. She discovers this fact only at his funeral, forcing them to go undercover to solve it. So instead of talking about murder all day at his wake they substitute Translation for Murder. Maybe it is just me but I loved all the moments, there were several, when Bones is talking to Booth and goes: "Booth, we are talking about translation!" to drive home that this is serious. Ok maybe just me but I love it!
