TV take two

After a week of new shows I have some updates of my early predictions.
The Mob doctor is losing me fast, I still just recording week to week. Zach Gilford's role isn't nearly big enough to overcome the rest of the show.

Revolution just tonight won a season pass spot on my DVR. The majority of what I've seen wasn't what did it, but the last scene in last week's episode has me hooked for a couple more episodes. Plus I have been listening to the podcast and that keeps me more involved than with other shows.

Ben and Kate- was fantastic. I laughed out loud so many, many times. Season pass, no regrets.

The Mindy Project- it was going to get a season pass no matter what, but I still liked it.

Revenge isn't new this year, however I managed to catch up with season one on netflix in a mere night. Season pass- at least until other DVR conflicts on Thursday push it to Hulu viewing.

We have already had our first showdown on the DVR. Thursday have traditionally been a horrible night for my TV, I pretty much DVR all of NBC's comedy block, I can't miss Vampire Diaries on CW, Glee just got moved to Thursday's this year, and Grey's Anatomy is something I want to record but am never able to. I also usually try to get It's always Sunny, and Archer on FX.

For the record even though all those shows aren't airing new episode yet, I had to let Grey's go, because Parks and Rec and The Office are too important to me.


So that is what I watched last week- along with Modern Family, the Middle, Fringe, Once upon a time, and Revenge. What have you been watching?

Fall is here

Other then the amazing colors of trees, the ability to wear cute jackets and scarves, and the return all of things pumpkin, my favorite thing about Fall in new TV. That is right- TV.

I tend to get super upset when shows I love get canceled. (NBC I'm still upset about Life and Prime Suspect, and if TBS hadn't saved Cougar Town I might have had to stop watch ABC all together.) But alas fall comes with the opportunity to start loving a new show that inevitability will be canceled, and no doubt another pilot involving a FNL alum that won't work out (i.e. Charlie's Angels, Off the Map, The Chicago Code). [side note if you are looking for new TV shows with a Friday Night Lights connection you can choose from the Mob Doctor or Nashville- my money is on Nashville] There might even be successes, last year I found the New Girl and Suburgatory on the comedy side and Once Upon a Time and Revenge on the drama side.

This year a couple of my favorites are coming to an end: The Office, 30 Rock, Fringe, these at least are all planned out, so I can prepare to say goodbye. I have a couple more I am worried about; Community and Parenthood were only renewed for shortened seasons (never a good sign)- come on NBC don't cancel everything I love.

That leads me to this, what new shows are you planning on watching?

The Mindy Project- Tuesdays on FOX
It premieres tomorrow night and has pretty awesome company, New Girl, Raising Hope, and another new hope of mine Ben and Kate. I have already seen the pilot, it is streaming on Hulu. I have always enjoyed Mindy Khaling on The Office and she appears to have some great looking co-stars. Plus I adore the idea (supported by twitter) that Mindy and Zooey are good friends and now both have shows on FOX.

Mob Doctor- Mondays on FOX
Premiered last week, I didn't enjoy the first episode very much, I feel like the corrupt Chicago scene has been pretty played out in TV and movies, I really tuned in the first time because it was after a favorite of mine, Bones, and it has Zach Gilford- better known as Matt Saracen from FNL. The star was on My Boys which I liked until I didn't, if you get what I mean.

Revolution- Mondays on NBC
Premiered last week, I watched the first episode mainly because I listen to a great fan podcast about Fringe and the guys who record that podcast are starting one about Revolution. I am willing to give it a couple more episode due to my love of J.J. Abrams. The show is about what happens after all of the power in the world is shut off (never to be turned on again) and like most J.J. shows it has a plucky female in the lead.

Nashville- Wednesdays on ABC
Doesn't premiere until Oct 10
Staring Connie Britton, which frankly is enough for me. Connie may be know to you as Mrs. Coach or Tami Taylor, and I would watch her act with a paper sack and love it.

Stars Wars... our epic journey

Did you know today all, and i mean all, Star Wars movies are playing back to back on spike tv? well now you do. Spike TV frankly pays Stars Wars a lot, last weekend Shea and I caught Return of the Jedi. And that is when we came up with our epic plan: watch all 6 Star War movies in one day. And today Spike TV is granting us that wish. Wish us luck, we will be using the force.

ABC i am really starting to Hate you...

I know, I know... the very few people who read my blog don't watch Lost. Even though I have tried again and again to convince you to. But Sunday was pretty momentous - it was the series finale for Lost. It was great, maybe a little to uplifting but thrilling and satisfying all the same. And then ABC went and ruined it all by shoving in random shots of the original flight 815 wreckage after the LOST screen. Which left millions of us going huh? You mean they died at the beginning and this was all imaginary? Personally I went a different way and assumed, incorrectly that the Ajara flight piloted by Frank Lapdis crashed. But alas no- ABC is beyond silly and did this. And then we all debated for 3 days before they cleared it up. If I was anyone from the production team of Lost I would be mighty might pissed right now. Whatever, this clearly means i am too involved.

why aren't you watching?

My tuesday nights have gotten a whole lot busier. It used to be the only night I didn't watch tv. But I am current suffering a wealth of riches on Tuesday.

Here is the break down, and by the by if you aren't watching you totally should be.

Lost, Parenthood, Justified

I am done preaching to the Lost choir, if you aren't into the show yet I hate to admit it but it is way to late to catch up before the series finale in may. So it sucks to be you, just keep watching Idol or dancing with the stars.

Parenthood: while in college I took an awesome psych class where I was compelled to watch Parenthood, the movie, multiple times and write a paper about it. It was like the best class ever, I got to watch movies, for HOMEWORK. The TV show is a update reinvention. It is sorta adorable and serious all at once. Plus Lauren Graham is in it. How can you go wrong? You can't!

Justified- The best television show I have seen in ages, maybe even ever. I love every single second of it. It's a Good Guy/Bad Guy show done right. Timothy Olyphant (often confused for Josh Duhamel) is amazing. I have no clue why he isn't a bigger star. Because he is spot on as the US Marshall with a penchant for his cowboy hat and shooting bad guys.

oh, I am aware, more than aware...

Don't worry I get it. Really I do. I have sucked it up big big time the last month when it comes to blogging. I fact i have done a pretty sketch job at responding to communication of all kinds. Why oh why can't you all read my mental responses? But that is in the past, new leaf!

Just to catch everyone up, I moved to Des Moines in the middle of December, I have a roommate now, we are doing a pretty great job at not killing each other. It is fabulous to have someone to talk to everyday and share utilities with. Plus we won a new TV from our rental company!

I spent my time during the crappy weather around Christmas with the Kibbe Family. Emily and I had a great time telling knock knock jokes, playing BOO!, singing jingle bells, and reenacting Family Guy commercials. On the 26th I celebrated Christmas with the family and the stomach flu- I can definitely vague for the cleanliness of Greg and Chels' toilet! Everyone did a great job taking care of me and also trying to stay healthy. Sadly Dad became the next victim of the family flu- although it seemed to get less severe with every person it got passed to.

I am super sad I missed Christmas with the Fehling family. I thought it best not expose anyone else, trust me it was NOT fun being sick. Hopefully everyone else had a great time without me!

Work has been keeping me busy, my new assignment requires more problem solving, fun, yet frustrating like a game of sudoku all day long!

I plan on continuing my book section with Books of 2010, and a new feature call Wines of 2010. I am going to try to feature a wine under $15 every other week or so, with a rating system of some sort!

And finally I am very excited that new episodes of televison have returned- oh my goodness do I LOVE Friday Night Lights!

The French/Model Connection

It is Reality Roundup time again!

Top Chef- it was a french themed week- originally I thought my little Mattin (the French Guy with the the neckcorcheif) was going to rock it, being French and all, but mostly the only complement he got was on his ability to speak French- plus it turns out he got wasted on his birthday! YAY!

Now to the acutal competition- The quickfire was a high stakes, but no money was involved instead the loser was going home! Everyone had to work with the one French delicacy that isn't hitting it big in the US- Snails. Jen points out they are easy to mess up. All ladies in the bottom three again (leading to the fact only ladies have been eliminated so far). There is a cook-off and Jesse goes home. The top three are Jen, Kevin and Mike I.(the mad one from last week) Kevin wins- turns out he doesn't have to cook in the elimination challenge instead he gets to enjoy the with the rest of the judges. (Side note- I love Hubert Keller- please make him the judge on every single challenge from now on!) The rest of the chefs team up the protein and sauce options. The top two teams- Jen and Mike V. (the Brother) and Bryan and Mike I. (the mad one)- Bryan wins for his trout. (that makes two elimination wins for Bryan) After a few weeks the top teams have been consistent- the mike's, Bryan, Jen and Kevin. Magically this time a man goes home- mostly for his poor meat cutting skills- Gale Simmons got a bad cut and made sure everyone knew. Bye Bye Hector- now we are down to only 2 chefs I can't understand when they talk!

Jennifer Rade- Most awesome guest judge

Project Runway- Finally a show that I got into.


This week the clients were the models and they needed an outfit to standout at an industry party. This has been done in seasons past but this time I wonder if it was done just to make Model's of the Runway more exciting. The promos for this week were completely dramatic- the show didn't quite live up to it all- but what I did love love love were the guest judges this week. Heidi was the only regular judge- instead we had Marc Brower, Zoe Glassner, and Jennifer Rade. Can I say that I would love for Zoe and Jen to come back every week? They both said what really needed to be said- especially Jen- I love her comment about why the model wasn't a designer "thank god". And she is possibly the only reason Logan didn't go home- mentioning how cute his pants and shoes, and well he was. Athela won with a cute 3 piece suit that only a model can pull off- the bottom three- Logan, Johnny, and Qristol- got mostly comments about their prom/bridesmaid/old looks. Qristol ends up going home.

Reality Roundup...

Let us start with Top Chef. Again I am still enjoying Top Chef Las Vegas way more than Project Runway. Maybe it is because I haven't picked a favorite for runway yet, or because I may hate the commericals on lifetime. But anyway, I digress, Top Chef.

Judges! The wise words you say!

Drama, Drammma, Drammmma. And I loved it! During the quickfire Preeti used Ashley's (remember whiny Ashley from last week?) water- and OMG- got greens in it. After a hurried beat down, Preeti threw that water out, but OMG what?!? Now Ashley only has 13 minutes to boil water -people- this could be a crisis! It was really awesome to have everyone yell at each other- Jennifer (my fav lady) took the time to tell us that Ashley took it easy on Preeti, man do I want to see what kind of tongue lashing Jennifer would have whipped out. Jennifer wins the quickfire, and she is happy because not being in the top three during the last elimination annoyed her (she was automatically disqualified because the women didn't win). For the elimination challenge the team gets to cook for 300 members and the family's of the air force. The catch? They must use the food in the mess hall- which they do not know what it is until they arrive. For the must part they all react well to the challenge. They put Jennifer in charge, and the rest work in teams of 2. Oh yes people we get to see Jennifer kick some butt. She definitely stops the off subject talk- (something about a brewery.) Again the men in general kick the women's butt. Michael (one of the brothers wins the elimination challenge)- and told us- in case we had forgotten that that makes he and Bryan tied for elimination wins. In a twist- Michael's team member Mike (who apparently didn't really do anything other than help serve the winning dish) ends up in the bottom 3 because of his crappy "greek salad". And boy is he pissed- naturally his excuses are super lame, like it was an extra dish and he was even iffy about serving it- to which the Judges pointedly say- Well then you shouldn't have served it. He gets by- Mike is probably the man I don't like the most, in my opinion you don't piss of the judges, and he voice annoys me. (yes this are little things, but its my blog I can say what I want) The women are dropping like the flies and I don't mind at all, get em out. Preeti goes- mostly because two weeks in a row she doesn't seem to understand why she is in the bottom three.

Project Runway-

"I wanted to work with someone who could carry me on this challenge"

Lamer words may never have been said on the runway. This episode was a bit of a letdown- the designers worked in pairs- which is usually pretty awesome : a.k.a. DRAMA. But alas only 1 couple really, really didn't get along, and they mostly just said, "I'm done, I'm done" over and over again. Mitchell- the lame-o and Ra'mon didn't exactly get along but I think it was mostly edited out to show Mitchell's self defeat- he starts with the carry me comment, just wants to be safe, jokes about being auf'ed. Hey jerk- some people are trying to win- so JUST QUIT- you aren't even trying. In a surprise the judges ask for a 2nd avant-garde outfit. Everyone freak outs. I can honestly say I didn't like any teams looks this week. I would like one, but not the other, I totally had no clue who would end up on top or on bottom. Mitchell and Ra'mon are on top with Johnny and his partner. Ra'mon wins, and in an apparent Top Chef twist- Mitchell ends up in the bottom three. Thank the lord when they finally get rid of him. I hope Nicolas keeps up his promise to help pack Mitchell.

Reality Roundup...

Is anyone watching TV like me these days? (Wow, what a horrible question, none of you could possibly be watching TV like me!) Like I mentioned last week, two of my favorite reality competition shows are back in the saddle! Lets start with Top Chef- I watched this week's episode about 1 and a half times- and it was plainly obvious the editors of this week's episode were trying to get two things across: (1) Bryan & Michael are brothers, brothers who are desperately trying to one up each other; by the way Michael (he has the tattoos) wins the quickfire and $15,000, Bryan wins the elimination challenge. And (2) Ashley (who is openly gay) is super upset she has to cook food for a bachelorette/bachelor party. I try not to get political on this blog- lets be honest it is mostly all about frivolous pop culture (and I like it that way)- but Ashley's repeated complaints were just so annoying and I am not the only one who noticed : Check out Ken Tucker's take. First of all I thought this was a cooking competition, so all of the focus off the food annoyed me, secondly do you really have to be able to get to do what every challenge represents or even be behind every challenge to cook food for it? I think not. But to each his own. Clearly what I loved most was Jen's comments about being upset that it was boys vs girls, this smart cookie proved she knew those girls aren't going to do anything but hold her back and she wants to play with the big boys, literally. The Boys kicked butt and won, the girls were bland, and Eve- who was amazed she was the only one from Michigan- goes home. My favorite competitor is Jen- lets get some more of her fiestiness. Bryan and Michael could be my next favorites if they ever stop talking about how they are brothers.
Project Runway- this week on the runway contestants were designing maternity wear for Rebbecca Romijn (I cannot resist saying in my head Stamos). Again another reminder of how long ago this season was filmed- Rebbecca had those twins in December, and she frankly didn't look all to huge last night (don't judge my huge comment, she was carrying twins). I was surprised that not everyone complained and bitched as much as they usually do whenever they have to make clothing for non-models (to be fair RR is a model, and also apparently a real celebrity- I will give her that). Usually the "Real Women" challenge is awesome; filled with complaining- like no one could ever imagine making clothing for any non size 0 woman ever. And if we are really lucky someone will make someone else mother cry. No such luck last night. We only got models with bellies. I liked all of the top three. And agreed with the bottom three. I was just a tad surprised that they kicked off two quirky kooky people two weeks in a row. Usually the kept one crazy around just to dramatic value. So far I would have to level and say Top Chef is kicking Project Runways butt. What are your thoughts?

so much more than an obsession

Clearly I hit the breaking point. People you should start getting worried. I watched-oh, 23 hours of Lost in the last 48- yes do that math Lynne + Lost= obsession. OMG I have 14 more hours available- at my freaking fingertips! So yes, obsession. And the worst part???? I already know what happens next. I have been streaming season 3. And lets enter the truth circle (entered? right!) I have already seen most of season 4- especially the important part of it, the end. And I have read all the recaps- I know what happens, I knew what was happening. It is so good you have to watch anyway. And it seems every single episode ends in a cliff hanger. This forces me to keep going. Oh and when my computer and netflix don't get along- I FLIP out. You should have seen me when all of the sudden it decided to stop working after episode 21, oh and then again in the middle of episode 23! Talk about crazy. I completely, completely want to watch season 4 right now. But that would be a mistake. Bo might go crazy if don't let him out of doors at a descent hour tomorrow/today.

Totally Lost....

So I finally took the plunge- I moved season one of Lost up to the top of my netflix queue- and last Wednesday disc one arrived. Can I say? Why the heck haven't I been watching this show? It is like ludicrous. I mean it is freaking me out. Ok- I will level with everyone I am the type of person who will read episode recaps without even watching the tv show in question. Last spring I started reading some of the recaps for Lost- and OMG can we say crazies? everyone has a conspiracy theory- there is this thing about the numbers, the magic powers of the island. I mean intense crazy stuff. People are passionate about this show- like no doubt. I kept reading people's status updates about how Lost was totally confusing etc. and really I thought "you know what? I am a smart person, I bet if I watched this show from the beginning I would have totally figured it out by now." I was so freaking deluded- I don't even know where to begin. IT IS CRAZY- but in like a really awesome way. I have no idea how people are keeping track of the number situation- because I am 12 episodes in- and all I have picked up on is- the flight number and how many survivors are left (and I know about most of the theories going into it) everyone else must be watching and re-watching a lot. Mostly I want more Sawyer- talking to anyone but especially Kate I would even settle for him silently fighting with Jack. There are so many characters and story lines. I am pretty sure I am going to do a lot of Lost watching this summer. All and all I am super happy I picked starting to watch Lost over 24 or Heroes- At least with Lost I know the last season will be this year's so once I catch up I will only have a few months to wait for answers. The people that watch 24 go all crazy every week because everything is always a cliffhanger. I couldn't handle an infinite amount of cliffhangers before me. I need to be able to see the end.

Hello SyFy- please don't suck

Here is something everyone might have missed. This week the Sci Fi channel changed it's name to SyFy (they spouted from marketing mumbo jumbo about synergy and alignment of markets- this is stuff I only wish people would pay me to spout). But they also previewed a new show: Warehouse 13:

Joanne Kelly, Eddie McClintock

Let's be honest, I only watched this show because I loved Eddie McClintock on the show Bones- except I had to hate his character because he was dating Temperance Brennan and we all know that was 100% not ok. Also what is great is- Eddie is essentially playing the exact same character as on Bones- Federal Agent (check) I little be free spirited (check) Comic relief (check). But I want to like this show, mostly for reasons that it is the summer and nothing else is on. But also because I feel like I gave old Eddie a bad shake- hopping he would leave Bones and never come back. So please SyFy- don't suck. I like the premiere, but didn't love it. I can probably script out the next 5 seasons on this show too- they aren't doing anything that hasn't been done before. I still want to like it. I just do. Let's think positive everybody.

You broke my HEART!

Another favorite which I saw for the second time today- thank you free HBO weekend! Lena from The sisterhood of the traveling pants 2 (longest movie name ever) Crying: "He broke my heart, now it is broken, I don't ever want to feel that way again"

A reason to watch TV again...

If you read this blog- you know that saying I enjoy TV, is putting it mildly. But ever since the season finales in May- I haven't had much of a reason to watch prime time. That all Changes tonight. Burn Notice is debuting its 3rd season at 8. It is a show that I would probably completely miss and ignore if it played during the fall- Thursday nights are already packed with shows I love, and Spy TV wouldn't be my first choice. But lucky for it, and me, this show typically debuts new episodes in the summer. I kind of love it- plus it routinely gives out spy tips- not that I have explosives laying around or get into lots of fights- but oh if I did! (I might be able to do something) Plus the main character ain't to shabby to look at either! This is one of those shows that I imagine men and women would enjoy watching together- action for the men, (plus all the women in swimsuits in Miami probably doesn't hurt) compelling stories, jokes and a good looking man for the ladies! What more could you ask for? In the summer- nothing!

Why I would pay to see Tim Riggins do almost anything...

Oh! Oh! Taylor/Tim Riggins/Gambit

This is a long awaited readers request. Thank you Alyson for waiting this long for me to get to your request! Alyson (who is awesome, and a brand new graduate- Congrats!) wants to know what I think about TV actors in big budget movies.

Steve Carrell has made a pretty smooth transition, at least in my opinion- he worked steadily on TV; The Daily Show, The Office, all while slowing building his film career, starting with supporting roles in movies like Anchorman, and Bruce Almighty. Steve really hit it big with 40 Year Old Virgin- but he has chosen not to abandon TV, rather he used his popularity to bring a larger audience to The Office. And granted he has made some bombs since 40 Year Old Virgin (Evan Almighty anyone?) At the point Steve is making a money and funny doing both TV and Movies and I would like to see him keep at it. Plus I have hopes he will do better than Evan from now on.

Rainn Wilson is also a good example- while he is mostly a TV actor, he has some several supporting roles and films and even a lead or two- I haven't fallen in love with any of his film work- other than the two scene appearance in Juno (which was beyond amazing) and I didn't hate The Rocker (mostly liked the music).

Now I know what you are thinking- Lynne get to the Hotties! Yes- exactly where we are going.

The Hotties:

John Krasinski- I really hope you are reading this because I think I speak for everyone when I say: I love you, you are adorable and funny, and every girls dream- and I know we all forget which part is you and which is Jim (which has to annoy you a little). But please PLEASE- stop making shitty movies. I cannot handle watching another really really crappy movie just because you, cutie that you are, are in it. I am ashamed to admit I own, no I wasn't smart enough to just rent, but I OWN- License to Wed. Now John- this should have been a good movie, Robin Williams is in general- acknowledged to be a funny guy, you are a cutie, and Mandy Moore has on occasion made a movie that I didn't hate, but instead it was a train wreck. I am not even going to go near Leatherheads- but please John- don't jump at the next crappy movie that puts you as a lead- think about it, make sure it really is worth it.

Patrick Dempsy- Please refer to the above- I cannot watch another crappy movie for you either- i.e. Made of Honor. (But we must remember in the 80's and 90's Patrick was actually a movie star, and TV was his comeback vehicle- not that I am complaining, I actually love Can't Buy Me Love, and McDreamy has made my last couple of years!)

Taylor Kitsch- Now Talyor is where I get a little defensive- unlike my love of John and Patrick, where I am willing to admit their faults, Taylor and I are not quite on that level yet. He still instantly makes movies better for me- The Convent, Wolverine. I find no wrong in him doing any and every movie that comes his way. Plus now that he has graduated from Dillion High- I might have to get used to paying to see movies with him in it, instead of enjoying him for free on TV every week!

Why May will Rock my Wooden Shoes Off...

Part 2: TV Shows
May is an exciting month for my favorite television shows! Most of them will be having season finales (not to mention all the exciting sweeps shows I have already experienced- weddings, illness, babies, discos!) This week is going to rock!
Season Finales occurring this week:
How I Met Your Mother- Will Robin and Barney finally get together (again)?, Will Ted make America happy and say Stella is NOT the one (again)?- we find out tonight!
Castle- lackluster season so far, but apparently it has all lead up to tonight's season finale. Come on Nathan Fillion make it interesting!
Bones- Booth and Brennan finally get it on! Now lets hope this show does not go the way of moonlighting!
Grey's Anatomy- Mer and Der finally tie the knot? Christina and Owen- get it together I love you two, and want you to love too! Finally George just might leave- and maybe get a line or two. Izzie- will you survive or die and mess up Alex more???
The Office- Holly finally returns, will it be love for her and Michael? Give me more Andy and Kelly! And some creed too!

Also I might as well admit I have been watching American Idol- and rooting for Kris, and very very very excited about GLEE! Yes May you rock in terms of television!

Reader Request...

This is for Alyson... (she rocks!)

Alyson recently asked me what I thought about the change in looks of movie star Patrick Swayze. Earlier this year Mr. Swayze announced he was suffering from pancreatic cancer, still fighting it, and hoping to continue to work on his new show: The Beast (on A&E). The media has reported a few times his unhealthy appearance and he has been in and out of hospitals all year. For many of us Patrick Swayze's heyday was Dirty Dancing- oh all those shirtless scenes, or even Ghost. So I think it is fair to say that he isn't going to look so smoking hot, 20 years later, regardless of health. As Alyson said he is 56- so you know not a complete loss in Hollywood standards yet. But I think his health has taken a definite toll. I can say I liked him in Dirty Dancing, but really haven't seen him in anything since- so yeah I like him dancing it up but never thought he was that good looking in anything else. Any thoughts? Some die hard fans our there?

Does anyone else out there watch BONES? This week and last they have been showing two episodes a week (love!) Monday's episode: Bones is convinced that a co-worker was murdered instead of died at natural causes. She discovers this fact only at his funeral, forcing them to go undercover to solve it. So instead of talking about murder all day at his wake they substitute Translation for Murder. Maybe it is just me but I loved all the moments, there were several, when Bones is talking to Booth and goes: "Booth, we are talking about translation!" to drive home that this is serious. Ok maybe just me but I love it!

Resisting your Advice

Ok, Ok I know I asked all of you loyal readers what should be the next show I start to watch. And really I did intend to listen, but frankly your advice made me sad :( So, suck it, I found the next big thing, and I am FREAKING excited about it. Behold: GLEE, rejoice! this is what I will be doing in May.

It turns out you guys think I watch to much TV. Which to be honest makes me a little sad. Because we haven't even touched the iceberg of the things I watch. In other news, I am still freaking everyone out with my cold voice and coughing. Also realizing how hard it is to eat when you cannot breathe through your nose.
