So it turns out I am bad at this....
I have been flaking my blogging lately. Which sucks, I know you miss me. But remember twitter- we will always have twitter. Which mostly means: Lynne you are lazy, and you have a neat-o little app on your phone that spell checks and everything (not that I remember to use it that often), plus it has a totally cute name that everyone gets to see- twitterberry- how can you not love that? But sadly 140 characters does put a damping on my clearly superior story telling abilities. For instance Sunday- Sunday was a beautiful day, I even decided to roll down my window, it was so nice out. This is sorta where things turned for the worst. My window decided that it did NOT want to roll up, right, hmmm, sorta an issue. This became an ever increasing issue due to the fact I was just outside of Ames and still had approximately 90 miles to drive, oh and it was starting to get cold out. So I am tired, driving, it is so freaking loud, I am getting cold. And what? I still have an hour plus to drive???????? Please- it totally sucked. Not to mention I drive by all of des moines waste on my way home. I have never noticed a smell before, but than again, I am generally not driving 65 miles per/hour with one of my windows all the way down. Finally I get home from Ames to good old Pella- I got to grab my coat and warm up! yay! but the window was still down, so I grab all my tools- which mostly consist of multiple screwdrivers and all the stuff that come attached to your disassembled bookcase or desk. This is the part where I get pretty impressed with myself. I was able to take apart the correct part of the door, and look at all the wires and thingies inside (yes I said thingies). But even with a little help via phone from Greg I can't get the window to decide to go back up. And because it would be unlikely that I would be able to take apart the rest of the door and force the window back up all by myself I have to take another cold drive, this time to O-town. My uber helpful brother Greg- was just the trick, he mostly just strayed a lot of dw-40 on it , but that window is working. I am also super scared of using it again, what happens if it won't go back up this winter????? But I also- love drive thru everything: It rocks to drive up to post office boxes, library drop offs, and food places. So I imagine I will be increasingly drawn to drive thru only to be to scared to use them. (and that Kristel is why I hate my window)

Staycation or Playcation?
Thanks to Laura (and fam) going on a nice little vacation this weekend- I get to do a staycation at their home. Bo and I have the run of the house. Which we will use slightly and then give back in perfect condition (hopefully my bad luck has all run out). I am pretty positive I can handle not destroying their home, but I have never taken care of a Dog before. Not even for like a half a day. Bo is pretty much the easiest animal ever to take of-he likes to be feed and the occasional ball toss. As long as I can keep him from the stuffed animals and pay attention to when he wants to be let out I think I will be golden. Tonight I even through in walk- just because I am awesome. I not sure what his normal route is- so at turns I was tempted to let him decide. Mostly we made a big loop through the neighborhood. The only thing I was paranoid about was encountering a small dog ( afraid Bo would go after it) we met one on the walk, but Bo magically restrained himself, and him pooping in someone's front yard. Yes people today we are talking about poop! I brought my plastic baggy along with me- all prepared to clean up after him if I needed to- but you can "in theory" be ready to do that, but still really really really not want to. I just hoped we would avoid that whole issues altogether. I tried to encourage Bo to use the backyard before we left, he just looked at me like I was an idiot. All along the walk I kept thinking- well if he is going to poop hopefully he will do it near the several churches we walk by and not some owners home (My thinking being- I don't want some poor homeowner watch me pick up poop off their yard, but I guess when you think about it technically I suppose God is the owner of all those churches and he is always watching, so that would have been way worse.) Luckily - no poop! (enough poop talk?- lets move on to pee) Pee on the other hand- Bo did plenty of that, after like the 3rd time I was positive he couldn't have any let , but no that didn't stop him from marking every official looking pole- everywhere. I laughed out loud when he peed on the fire hydrant- I thought only Hollywood dogs did that in movies and cartoons. I guess our Bo is a movie star! So far so good, hopefully I can keep a notoriously emotional Bo out of the depths of depression this weekend!

Putting it down...
So I have been writing blog posts in my head pretty much all week. You may have noticed I didn't actually write any of them down. Apparently my peak creativity is at work at like 3 :30 a.m.- which makes it impossible to actually write it down. I am not great at follow through at 9:30 a.m. This is why you lovely people haven't been getting posts this week. This week has been kind of same ol' same ol'- Today I finally finished most of my Christmas stocking (only back stitching left, which we all know is the worst part). I want to just get creative and put lines where ever I feel like, but it would be a shame to ruin my stocking when it is right at the end just because I am getting tired of following directions. I am getting pumped up for the weekend. I will be in Ames- haircut, babysitting, veishea, friends, cinco de mayo mini tour. I am going to live it up!

Updates...
With a working computer at home I am going to try to keep posting. Hopefully I won't have a two month gap in my posts anymore... Here is what I have been up to in the meantime.
I went to the state fair with some friends and found Pella Plaza- at the time I was very excited.
Hey look! That is my bosses name! I also found one of my employees in there!
We got Cy hats- and i happy forced everyone to wear them! Kelli looks good with Cy!
This was a week ago at the Kent state game. Emily was tailgating with family and friends and she took some time to say Cheese! and take a picture with me!
Shea myself and Kelly tailgating before the Kent State game. They are always so nice and let me crash on their couch when in town!

Back to the Blog world
Wow it has been a lifetime since I last made a post. I am going to blame it all on my computer getting a virus and me thinking it wouldn't be professional to blog at work! I am gearing up for Cyclone football this weekend. I managed to snag a Kent State ticket from a friend and look forward to checking out the stadium with all the new I-State logos. I spent a bit of time in Ames this past weekend catching up with Shea and Nancy- seems like i hadn't seen them in SOOOO long. We had fun catching up and going out. I even managed to grab lunch with the very busy Kelli- a more involved person I do not know. I have no clue how she manages to balance her busy schedule but i am glad she manages to fit me in it!
